Ivy is a Virginia CPA and started working at DC-NOVA in 2018 as a part time accountant. She
has worked several decades in the nonprofit sector including over 11 years at a Habitat affiliate
in another state. She currently oversees affiliate operations including programs, ReStores and
the accounting team. She enjoys problem solving and tweaking processes that allow
organizations to become more efficient

Being part of an organization that is actively involved in breaking down barriers to

homeownership in underserved communities is important to me. The work is not glamorous

and there is no instant reward, however, each day, little by little, we help create access and

hope for those in need of a decent affordable place to live.
