Donation Pick Up
Our ReStores are open to the public and your donations help to fill our stores with treasures for shoppers to purchase. Funds generated from the sale of donated items at Habitat DC-NOVA ReStores will directly help support our mission to provide decent, affordable housing for local families in your community. Donations also help keep items out of landfills and provide your items a new place to call home!
We have two great options to have your donations picked-up & donated to Habitat DC-NOVA ReStores
Priority Pick-Up
We have partnered with ReSupply to offer pick-up services in Washington, D.C.and parts of Northern Virginia where we are unable to offer pick up. Donations can also be picked-up within 48 hours and they can enter your home and remove your donations.
- Resupply can pick up from multiple floors and disassemble furniture
- Items of ANY condition picked up
- Pick-up fee reflects the operating costs and is much smaller than a usual moving company fee (fee is not tax deductible, but donated items are).
- Service Area includes the Cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, Washington DC, and the counties of Fairfax and Arlington.

Regular Pick-Up
Habitat DC-NOVA ReStores offer free pick-ups for large items and loads. Items sold at our ReStore help support our work of building and preserving affordable homeownership opportunities in our communities.
- We schedule pick-up’s 1-3 weeks in advance, depending on the volume of requests
- Review a list of donations that we can accept and sell at our ReStores
- All donated items must be on the curb or garage at the time of pickup
- Service area includes the cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, and the counties of Fairfax and Arlington. We can also pick up in limited areas of Loudoun County.
