Join Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia at the Anacostia Neighborhood Library for an in-person information session to learn how you or a loved one can become a homeowner through our affordable housing program! The session will be led by Kat Shaub, Habitat DC-NOVA’s VP of Housing Programs & Meche Martinez, Director of Homeownership at Douglass Community Land Trust.
The session will take place at the Ora Glover Meeting Room (25-100 Person Capacity) on Tuesday, May 26, 5:00PM – 7:15PM. You are welcome to come for any part of the session that interests you.
Application Help (5-6PM): This session will include dedicated time to work with our staff on an application and get support on your application questions.
Homebuyer Info Session (6-6:45PM): What you’ll learn:
- Our program requirements
- What homes we have for sale
- How to apply for our program
- How to secure affordable home financing
Open House (6:45-7:15PM): This session will be followed by a visit to our property for sale at 1900 18th St SE, just a short walk down the block from the library.
