Interfaith Build

Join 50+ faith organizations to raise $100,000 to support the Glebe View townhome project at Fairfax Presbyterian Church! Habitat for Humanity was built on foundation of faith. It is interwoven into our identity and through Interfaith Build, we celebrate different faith beliefs and create affordable housing opportunities for families. For this inaugural Interfaith Build, we are highlighting our Glebe View 10-townhome project that is located on Fairfax Presbyterian Church’s land in the city of Fairfax.

Volunteer opportunities at Glebe View will open in 2027 but you can reserve spots now!

About Glebe View Townhomes

Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia (Habitat DC-NOVA) is partnering with Fairfax Presbyterian Church (FPC), HomeAid National Capital Region, and HomeStretch to redevelop a portion of the Church’s parking lot into ten affordable townhomes. We will build ten townhomes, each with four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and an attached garage. Eight homes will be sold to qualified households through Habitat’s homebuyer program.

The Glebe View townhomes will be permanently affordable using a ground lease structure. By separating the ownership of the land and the homes, the cost to purchase is further reduced for future homebuyers.

As part of this partnership, Fairfax Presbyterian Church will provide the land through a long-term ground lease, HomeAid National Capital Region will provide no-to low-cost site work and materials and Habitat DC-NOVA will be the primary builder and project manager.

Each home will be 4bd/3.5ba and be built to Earthcraft standards of sustainability with energy-efficient appliances, solar panels, and more to decrease environmental impact and utility and maintenance costs for the homeowners.
