The Store that help builds homes
The ReStore is a discount home improvement store and donation center. With locations in Alexandria and Chantilly, Habitat DC-NOVA ReStore’s are open to the public Monday-Saturday and a resource for low-cost building supplies, furniture, and home furnishings. When you visit a ReStore, you are diverting items from landfills and supporting our work to help local families build a stronger foundation for their future through affordable homeownership opportunities.
Our Alexandria & Chantilly ReStores are open to the public Monday-Friday from 10 am – 6 pm
and Saturday from 9 am – 5 pm
Our Herndon ReStore will be permanently closed on March 14th.

We accept donation drop-offs Monday-Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at our Alexandria and Chantilly ReStore.
Locations
You never know what hidden gem you’ll find at one of our ReStores. We get donations of new and used items so there is something for everyone. Your purchases build equity, stability and homes.
Donate
Donating goods to a Habitat DC-NOVA ReStore keeps items from filling up your garage or a landfill. We accept donations from businesses, building contractors, suppliers, and individuals. All donations are tax-deductible, and profits support Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia.
Volunteer
Do you love to shop, organize, or talk with people? Our ReStores would be a great fit for you! Volunteers help accept donations, organize inventory, assist customers with finding items, create or improve displays, and much more.
