Come learn about how to get involved in Women Build+, our annual campaign to empower women and folks of diverse genders to learn new skills, directly serve the community, and raise awareness of gender-based housing gaps. The kick-off event is a fantastic opportunity to meet other Women Builders and start building your own volunteer team.

Join us on Earth Day for a morning symposium convening industry experts to explore the intersection of sustainable building practices and affordable housing.

The program will feature two expert-led panels examining how sustainable design and construction practices can strengthen affordable housing developments across our region, followed by a networking reception and tour of the AGU building – the first net-zero renovated building in DC!

The symposium is part of the annual Home is the Key campaign hosted by Habitat for Humanity to highlight the transformative impact of a safe, decent place to call home.

SAVE THE DATE! This gathering will be a casual come-and-go block party to celebrate all your hard work and recognize the achievements of certain dedicated volunteers. We will share awards, play yard games, and enjoy some yummy food and drinks. Hope to see you there!
